Premier Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a well-established logistics company based in Orpington. We're seeking an experienced Warehouse Dispatch Supervisor to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, taking ownership of day-to-day dispatch operations and leading a busy, hardworking team.
The Role
As the Warehouse Dispatch Supervisor, you will oversee daily outbound operations to ensure all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. You'll manage the dispatch team, plan workloads, support continuous improvement, and drive high performance across the department.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident in leading from the front and maintaining strong standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Operations
Supervise and support the dispatch team with daily order fulfilment
Plan dispatch activities and allocate labour and resources
Oversee safe and accurate vehicle loading
Monitor courier and transport performance, resolving any issues
Leadership
Lead, coach, and motivate the team
Hold daily briefings and support ongoing staff training
Manage performance, attendance, and team communication
Promote a positive, collaborative working environment
Inventory & Systems
Ensure accurate stock allocation using WMS
Minimise errors and investigate discrepancies
Maintain accurate digital and physical documentation
Safety & Quality
Ensure compliance with all H&S regulations
Carry out equipment and warehouse safety checks
Support internal audits and adhere to SOPs
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for improvement in dispatch processes
Support reporting, KPIs, and operational projects
What We're Looking For
Experience within warehouse dispatch, logistics, or distribution (ideally 3PL)
Previous supervisory or team leader experience
Good understanding of dispatch and transport processes
Confident using WMS and general IT systems
Strong leadership and communication skills
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions & Benefits
10am-7pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility required)
